Welcome to Comfy Paws Pet Sitting
Hi, I’m Shawna, a pet sitter serving Westerville, Ohio, and this is my cat Cliff. Cliff is the reason I started pet sitting. After rescuing Cliff, I quickly learned he is a sensitive creature. Boarding him or keeping him at home alone for long periods of time put a lot of stress on his body, and we found ourselves with some major vet bills as a result.
For this reason, I began hiring a cat sitter while we were away – but it was hard to find someone I trusted. Rover catered more to dogs – which I also love – but I needed someone who understood cats. Thankfully, we now have someone who gives me peace of mind while we are away.
I decided I wanted to help others in the Westerville, Ohio area who are in the same position as me. So I started pet sitting. My mission is to keep pets happy and most importantly, comfortable, while their owners are away. Comfort looks different to every animal so I provide multiple service options to pet owners:
Frequently asked questions
No, at this time I do not provide intravenous medication.
No. At this time, I do not take pets to the vet unless there is a medical emergency.
Short answer: 1-3 visits per day.
Most cat owners request one or two visits a day depending on the age of their cat.
Most dog owners request 3 times per day: 6:30AM, 1PM, 8PM. Sometimes I am unable to accommodate dogs due to their schedule. Please reach out to see if I’m available.
Yes, I am available most holidays. During holidays and prime vacation times there is an extra charge per service. Please see the Rates & Services page for more information.
On some holidays, like Christmas and Thanksgiving, I will only do drop-ins in the very early morning or late evening. This allows me to spend time with my family and friends. For this reason, I only watch cats on Christmas and Thanksgiving or dogs who only need let out once and can fit into my schedule.
Please note, I book up about a month in advance for major holidays. Please get your requests in as early as possible.
